The Plan to Save The Pier

The organisation is planning a phased approach to achieve our objects. The 2 primary phases are:

• Phase A: Effecting repairs to the existing timber pier to a standard that will allow the current closure notice to be lifted and the reinstatement of use by commercial traffic, e.g. PS Waverley.
• Phase B: Restoration of the Pier to allow the attachment of an accessible gangway and pontoon to the inner Timber Pier; and the introduction of a number of single point swinging yacht moorings nearby.
